4 McIntosh Apples

This past Friday, the 4 McIntosh Apples went down to get family portraits done as it had been quite some time since we had family photos taken. While we were at the studio, Ean was absolutely in love with Rachel (our photographer) and gave her plenty of hugs and kisses while Ella remained a bit cranky and hungry through out the shoot, but still happened to get some good shots taken.

I can tell that we are on our second child, because the pictures don’t get taken as often as they did with Ean. It’s funny that cellphones are not good camera’s but for some reason it is always around and can get some quick shots.

The family is out having lunch after Ella's four month check up. Everything checked out ok and she is doing well.

Here are some stats:
4 months old
25 inches (previous 22.5)
14lbs 6oz (previous 11lbs 11oz)

She is in 75% for height and 75% for weight. In comparison Ean always was in 25% for height and 80% for weight so it looks like Ella will be taller than Ean.

Ella got 4 vaccine shots and 1 oral dosage for rota. She is doing ok now, but she was teary for a little bit and even yelled at the nurse after getting the shots.

I just wanted to wish our mothers, grandmothers, and soon to be mothers a Happy Mother’s Day!

It’s the one day that you get to spoil the mothers. (Not that we shouldn’t do it all the time)

I had to go to Nashville for a business trip and brought the family along. Here are some pictures of some of the restaurants that we went to around the Opryland.

To mix up breakfast today, Ean was treated to a secret McIntosh receipe – food coloring. I made him a batch of blue pancakes and blue milk.

Ean screamed out that blue was his favorite color and he started scarfing the pancakes down. It was a neat twist to the start the day.
