Making Brownies

Now is the time that the kids are getting fun. It is not all about having to change diapers, feed them, or icky tasks.

Ean got to help make brownies tonight and boy, he was excited. He got to crack the eggs open and stir the brownie mix. Of course, the most special part of it all – licking the bowl!

Storms pass through Indiana

There were some nasty windstorms and sighted tornados. There was roofs ripped off of barns as well as several semi-trailers over-turned in our truck yard at work. Of course, we were up in Ft Wayne at the time the major storms went through and we saw little action.

However we did the rainbow when we got home. I thought that I would share it everyone.

Summertime finally hits Indiana

For two days in a row, we have had sun and temperatures over 85 degrees. Ean helped me mow today and he needed a cool down after we were done.

What is not pictured here is him being sprayed off with the hose buck naked on the back deck to get all the clipped grass off of him.

4 McIntosh Apples welcomes Layna Mae

Amanda had her baby, Layna Mae on Tuesday at 2:28pm. Layna weighed 6 lbs 10oz and 19 inches long.

Both Mom and baby are doing well. Ean also said he wanted a little brother while we were at the hospital. That got a nice chuckle out of us.

Ella smiles easily now

Now that it is warm outside and Ella doesn’t have to be all bundled up, she is a much happier baby. She smiles quite often now and Ean can actually make her giggle plenty. The rest of us have a hard time making her laugh.

This picture was taken just before we headed out this afternoon to run some errands. I’m not sure if you can tell or not, but check out her little piggy toes and see if you can see the toenail polish.
