Ella starting to walk
We were wondering when Ella would start walking. Ean start about a week before his first birthday and Ella now has started a couple days past her birthday.
She is really excited about walking now and likes to walk everywhere if she is not in a hurry. If she wants somewhere in a hurry, it is still a quick crawl to the remote/cup/plate/toy/whatever that is craving her attention.

I’m surprised that she didn’t go face first into the cake.
Instead she ate like a lady and used her spoon.
Ella’s 1st Birthday Party
Even though Ella’s birthday is Friday, we had her party today to have the family get together. Ella woke up from her nap to a full house and it scared her, she took a bit to warm up but once that happen, she broke her shyness and decided to enjoy herself.

Lovely Indiana Weather
The weather in Indiana is great! We just had some low temperatures over the last week. I woke up to a morning of -16 degrees and my car barely started. Here are a couple of images that shows some of the snow that we had the other morning.
Ean can’t stand posing
It takes everything to get Ean to sit still for a picture. We have to threaten to beat him, take his toys away, sell him on the black market, but nothing seems to work. This is the best we can get out of him, even though if we took him to a studio, he’d be all smiles for them. Go figure.
