I won free tickets to see the Colts play the Jets on December 27th. Unfortunately the coach decided to the loose the game for them and pull most of their starters when they only had a 5 point lead and allowed the Jets to come back and win by a large amount.
The roads were very snowy as we got about 3 inches of snow throughout the whole day and the roads were not always fast moving.
Other than that – we had a blast as it was April’s first professional football game and Lucas Oil Stadium was huge and a great place to be as a fan!
Here is the slide show of our day:
I finally decided to break down and pick up my first Digital SLR camera. I picked up a Nikon D40 and I have been very impressed with most of the pictures. I think the ones that I weren’t that great was the photographers fault.
If you are interested in seeing some of the shots that I am taking as test shows, you can head over to the set at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/4mcintoshapples/sets/72157607412878111/
I wouldn’t expect anything great as I’m just learning my way around the camera, but I’m learning.
I am in the process of backing up my pictures to online storage and I was looking at some of my pictures. This is one that shows the beauty of the state park where we got married.

Just doing a test to see if I can get rid of verizon spam
note: the lines below is what verizon wireless is spamming my posts with if I don’t edit them. I guess I’ll have to find another way to post easy.

I went to a town hall meeting in Marion Indiana where Barack Obama spoke for an hour and half. It was well worth standing in 40 degree weather in a pair of shorts. Better pictures to come

Here is a picture of me filling up the jeep. I can't believe how high gas prices are. Thanks President Bush!
It was finally about time, we’ve had Ella for 9 weeks now and I still haven’t gotten around to updating the blog to 4mcintoshapples.com. I had some time yesterday morning (Saturday) so I made the switch.
Give me a call or email if you have any issues with the new domain. I may have missed something.
Well I got a pleasant surprise today at work. I got pulled into the general manager’s office when I was close to walking out the door.
He informed me of the promotion and new role. My official title is now ‘WITRON Systems Manager’, which used to be ‘Warehouse System Support Manager.’ So my title shrank a little bit and will save the company some ink cost on my business card.
It was a nice surprise and I’ll take it considering that I wasn’t expecting it.
I went to see Harry Potter with April this afternoon. It was a very good movie with a great magic battle towards the end. Unfortunately, I’ve read the all of the books and there was a lot of stuff not in the movie that could have been.
I feel like they touched a lot on the relationship of Sirius and Harry, they didn’t touch a lot on the Dumbalodre (spelling?) and Harry or about Harry’s dilemma about his dad being a bully much like Draco.
Anyways, if I hadn’t read the book, I would give it 4.5 out of 5. But I did so 4.25 out of 5 and definitely go see it at the theater.

Last night, Ean and I were out playing on his swing set. Ean was Captain Hook while I was his lackey, Smee. We had wood swords and we were driving the pirate ship away from Peter Pan (our puggle) and the lost boys (our beagle). Ean’s sand box was the crocodile that kept chasing after Ean with the faint sounds of a clock behind heard.
April pitched in and made Ean a hook for his hand. It was great fun and I loved watching Ean’s imagination flourish as we played. It makes me look forward for the years to come with him and his soon to be sibling.
