Now that Ella turned two, it was time to move her from the crib and crib matress into a big girl bed.
While we were discussing Ella’s bed, we wanted to move Ean out of his race car bed and into just the matress. This would free up alot of space in his room for the massive amounts of toys he owns.
Both changes took effect today and both kids are excited about the changes. Now, I hope that they will both stay in them tonight.
We are winding down from Ella’s birthday party. Ella is down for her nap and we are in the processing of cleaning up.
Ella did better than expected after a shakey start with no nap. She enjoyed opening her presents, but took her sweet time reviewing everything that she opened.

Our little baby is turning two today. We can’t believe it has happened so fast. Next step, she brings home her first boyfriend.
While April and Ean headed to Ean’s school party, Ella and I had a playdate. We went to Its Playtime, a kid center that provides the space and the toys while we brought the fun!

Ella is growing up. She has been showing more and more initiative to play with her toys and starting to color in her coloring books. Not too much longer and she will be bringing her first boyfriend home.

While Ean has been grabbing most of the attention lately, with school and soccer. Don’t think Ella has been left out of the action.
I was off the other day, so after we dropped Ean off at school, we went down to the River Greenway with Ella and a camera and just let her go crazy. It was fair game unless she was about to go into the street or into the river.
Fortunately all people, animals, plants and life in general were not harmed in the filming on this day.

We just left the Doctor’s office a little bit ago after Ella’s 18 month checkup.
Things went well even after getting two shots.
She is now 32 1/2 inches (up from 29 1/2 in February). This puts her in the 80% of height for all children.
She now weighs 25.6 lbs (up from 23 lbs in February). This puts her in the 60% of weight for all children.
It’s now nap time after we gave her some Motrin in case of a low grade fever. Maybe I can sneak in one with her.
