Christmas 2009 Photos

Well, our Christmas holiday is wrapping up and we are working on retiring the old stuff (clothes and toys) and moving the new toys/clothes into the rotation.

Other than the snowy and cold weather, our holiday was a good one. Ella wanted nothing to do with unwrapping presents, but loved pulling socks from the stockings. Ean, on the other hand, loves opening presents so much so that he was unwrapping his presents and not waiting for anyone to watch him.

We still owe a couple of gifts and should get them out hopefully by the beginning of the new year.

I hope everyone had a great holiday as well.

Merry Christmas from the 4 McIntosh Apples

While there is not a creature stirring in the house, we wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and safe holidays!

Good food

It’s funny – the kids never eat all of their food in one sitting. However, we discovered a place that the kids not only eat at all of their food, but they ask for seconds. Sakura’s japanese restaurant, which was previously a date night eatery, has been put on the lunch rotation. It has also been placed on one of the Fort Wayne favorites.

Thought that I would try and get everyone into the mood.

Fall Time

Although the color changing leaves look beautiful, the falling leaves also need to be cleaned up.

On a nice day, the family went out and raked the leaves in the yard and had a blast doing it.

Here is the photo album to shows the fun that we had:

Sea World – Vacation 2009

We didn’t think we were going to make it to Sea World on this trip after we started looking at the prices. Then we found some 50% off coupons at the condo where we were staying at.

The 4 McIntosh Apples all headed over there on Saturday for a very hot and sweaty day.

The kids all enjoyed the shows as well as the exhibits, especially the dolphin show with the aerial acrobatics and Macaws. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any video or pictures of the dolphin show because we were too engrossed in the show. April and Ean went and fed the dolphins as well although Ean got splashed in the face and wasn’t happy after that.

Here are some pictures, a slideshow of photos, and a link to the photo album.

Downtown Disney – Vacation 2009

The family went down to Downtown Disney one day last week to hit the Lego Imagination Center and let Ean go shopping. My Dad came down and joined us for the afternoon.

We ended up eating lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, which Ean did not like in a previous visit to the Nashville one. After several long minutes, we convinced him to sit down and at least try it. We made it through the meal.

Here are a few photographs from the afternoon as well as the slide show and link to the photo album.

Vacation Officially Started

Today is the first official day of the 4 McIntosh Apples vacation. We had the last minute goodbyes with the grandparents and we are off early tomorrow afternoon. Ella has a checkup at 11:00am, then we will finish packing the car and head down to April’s cousin Katrina’s house.

Then we fly out early morning Tuesday with an ETA in Orlando around 2:30pm.

We are getting excited now. However, looking at the forecast looks like a bunch of isolated thunderstorms around the area. Just hoping that it all misses us.

Gearing up for Vacation

Conversions are finally complete and major to-do list items are being worked on. I finally can afford to take a two week vacations. We are heading to Florida for seven of those days, and doing stuff around the area for the other days.

Looking forward to beach, pool, beach, pool, maybe the beach, and then the pool again. Oh yeah, we might eat some and take a trip to Sea World during that time too.

Lots of pictures to come in the next couple of weeks.
