Bubbles
Yesterday, April, the kids and I headed over to my Mom’s house. The day ended up being beautiful and we spent a good portion of the afternoon outside playing with bubbles and balls.

Last week on my day off, April, the kids and I went down to the park to play around. We flew some kites (well…. attempted to fly). playing on the playsets and just lounged around on blankets. When we got home, Ean broke out his bike and Ella got a kick out of honking the horn.
Here is a slide show of the day:
I hope you enjoy the photos.
It is nice to finally have some warm weather in these parts. The sun has finally come out from the clouds and we are having some temperatures above 70 degress consistentely now. This kid’s cabin fever is starting to break as well as they get more time outdoors. We think Ella may have some allegeries as everytime that she is outside she ends up with red eyes and a runny nose. Either that or she is eating too much hemp cereal.
I hope you enjoy the pictures as the kids are really enjoying the outdoors.
We went to the Indianapolis Children’s museum and it was a geek’s dream for his geeky son. Star Wars, Comic Books, Legos and Dinosaurs. What else would you want?
Here is the slide show to show all of the geeky day:

This is the second of the backlogged posts that I had to share.
The weather seems to have taken a turn for the better and the sun has finally peaked around the clouds and brought some warmer temperatures.
The kids who have been holed up in the house all winter are ready to go out and play. Of course, what kind of parents would we be if we didn’t let them.

Here is the first of two backlogged posts that I have to get out.
Now that I am only having Wednesdays off, we decieded to take the kids to Science Central in downtown Fort Wayne. There was a little kids section as well as some more interesting exhibits. Ean was interested for the first 30 minutes and then he got bored and started to wander.
Here are some pictures of the day:
I can’t say it was a blast because the price was not worth the broken down exhibits, but it was a good experience for Ean.
A week or so ago, the four of us got dressed up and went down to Sears to have our family portraits taken.
Normally Ean is our picture taker and has some of the best smiles. This time Ean was the hardest to get to a decent smile – he was being corny and goofy. I hope you enjoy them as we feel that they came out pretty good.

The weather in Indiana is great! We just had some low temperatures over the last week. I woke up to a morning of -16 degrees and my car barely started. Here are a couple of images that shows some of the snow that we had the other morning.
It’s been a busy end of year.
Here is the slide show of the pictures from Christmas 2008 with multiple families involved.
I hope everyone is having a good new year. We are making preparations for Ella’s birthday party now.
