Christmas 2008
It’s been a busy end of year.
Here is the slide show of the pictures from Christmas 2008 with multiple families involved.
I hope everyone is having a good new year. We are making preparations for Ella’s birthday party now.

It came a little bit early, but it is still here. Winter has made it’s appearance and it came harshly. This morning it was only 20 degrees.
We know that living in Indiana is cold, but jeez not this early.
The other day, we got our first real snow storm that had some accumulation. Here are the pictures to prove it:
Yesterday was Halloween as everyone is aware. The 4 McIntosh Apples went out and trick-or-treated at the local families houses.
Ean was very exicited to show off his cool Indiana Jones looks.
Ella has been our little bug since she was born and now she gets to show off her cute lady bug looks.
In the absence of my posts, it just means that my work load has picked up as we get closer to our first conversion.
Not much has really been going on except for work and kids. We are gearing up for the holidays, which is just around the corner.
Kids are doing well and April and I are doing good as well. I guess take that no news is good news.
Talk to everyone soon!
We took the kids to Foster Park the other day to take some pictures of them.
Ean didn’t do very well in the still pictures, but I did get him to run to a bench and sit for a whole 10 seconds.
Ella on the other hand did so much better sitting still.

We just got back from vacation after a nice warm week in Florida. We spent lots of time on the beach as well as other sites like the alligator farm and St George Street shops.
This is Ean watching his movies on the way down to Floriday.
After initially being afraid of Angus, Ean shortly warmed up to him and would always play with him.
Ella enjoyed the beach, however she was never really comfortable with the sand below her feet.
Ean really enjoyed the beach and played in the sand and he loved running from the waves.

I know that I’ve tappered off a little bit, but things are still going well around here.
Ella just had her six month appointment at Dr Rusk’s office. She was 26 1/2″ and 17lbs and 9oz. Both of those are in the 80% for her age. Ean was always 25% in height and 80% in weight. So far, it looks like Ella is going to have my height and Ean will have April’s height.
Ella can sit up without help now and without falling over. (Well we have to place her in a sitting position). She is at the point that she is about ready to crawl. She can spin herself in circles as she reaches for things.
She has quite the appetite and loves Oatmeal, fruit and some veggies like sweet potatoes and Squash.
Ean is getting to be quite the goof ball. I had a doctor’s check up today and the nurse asked me where my “animated son” was and I asked “you mean the kid that talks non-stop” – She laughed. He is doing well healthwise, but I think at times he gets bored being home all the time even though he tells us that we need to tear down the daycare because he doesn’t want to go back there.
Ean has been getting into Star Wars action figures now that we have bought him a couple and he has been watching some of the movies. Makes me all emotional knowing that he is going to be a star wars geek. He is just not ready to share them with Ella yet and she is always trying to grab them out of this hands.
We are looking foward to our vacation at the end of August as it will be the first time we have been to Florida since Ean was one years old. He is looking forward to Alligator farm, the beach, and possibly Animal Kingdom.
Last Friday, April headed out to a friend’s house so I got to stay home and play with the kids. What the video shows is Ean playing like he normally does and Ella chasing her big brother around and laughing at him as he plays.
We went up to my Aunt and Uncle’s Lake House this weekend to visit with family. It gave us a great visit (although rainy for a portion of it) as well as chance for the kids to play in and around the lake.
Here are some pictures from the visit:
Today, the family went down to the Three Rivers Festival in downtown Ft Wayne. The kids just love being outside and being with family only makes it better.
We saw many rides that Ean wouldn’t ride and April even took a ride on a helicopter, which itself is amazing.

There was some other awesome chalk art that a lot of people made in the streets. It was the first time that I had seen such a large number of street art.
