Red’s Game

It has been a busy summer for us so far. Lot’s of activity and things that we are fortunate to have a chance to do. My work had a raffle for a new program being started and the bank that is in my warehouse donated some Cincinnati Reds tickets. One of the supervisors won the tickets was unable to go so I bought the tickets off of her for $10. Not a bad price considering that the parking alone was $15 if we would have paid.

Other than it being really hot, the day was filled with fun and enjoyment and we are glad we had a chance to go. Ean just finishing up T-ball for his first was interested for awhile and really enjoyed that peanuts. I don’t think the folks sitting around us enjoyed Ean enjoying the peanuts though.

T-ball Images 2010

For his first year, we are very proud of how Ean is doing in T-ball. His ability to try and hit the ball has been great and he has only needed to hit off an actual Tee during the first game. Every game since he has hit when at bat.

Fielding on the other hand is a different story. Because they have put him out in Right field, the ball very rarely comes to him so he gets bored out there and doesn’t really pay attention. I wouldn’t expect anything less of him out there because of the lack of action.

However, we are still very proud of how well he is doing for his first year.

Ean’s First T-Ball Game

At first we thought he was going to back out on us. However, he surprised us and not only enjoyed playing and but he told us how much fun he had playing. We are glad that enjoyed himself and we look forward to the rest of his games.

First T-Ball Practice

So it began today – The start of Ean’s baseball career. His very first t-ball practice was this evening. He made friends pretty quickly with his teammates as their ran around the bases.

One promising thing is that Ean will not be the only first year playing. The bad thing is that after the first practice, the team isn’t looking so hot. Good thing we have a few more practices to go.

We do have copies of the schedules if you want. Just let April or I know.

As the season wound down, it appears that Ean lost some of his steam and initiative as well.

Maybe it was the weather getting colder or maybe it was just his lack of interest, but it seemed the more he played the less he wanted to.

There was no video from game 7 because we were running behind and it was raining and we didn’t break out the camcorder.

Ean just wasn’t into kicking the ball on this game, but he was more interested in just running around.

For some reason as the season goes on, Ean’s desire to play decreased. He is excited about going there and just at start up, but he just doesn’t pay attention to the ball any longer.

Soccer Game 4 2009 Video

Work has been pretty hectic over the last week and a half, so I haven’t had a chance to update anything.

Here is the video for Game 4 of the 2009 season that Ean is playing in. For some reason, Ean is starting to get less interested in playing and seems to wander a little bit more around the field and doesn’t really pay attention to the ball. Of course, he knows that family comes and watches so he show boats occasionally as he runs by.
